Recognition Systems
With over 70,000 hand geometry units throughout the world reading millions of hands
each day, Recognition Systems, founded in 1986, is the world´s pioneer of hand recognition
technology used in access control, time and attendance and identification applications.
To merge the hand geometry technology with our AMAG access control platform, we
upgraded our multiNODE 2100 HGU controller panel to enable it to store hand geometry
templates. This
provides throughput efficiencies and allowed customers to create
a "pure" biometric access control system that do not require traditional access
control cards. The world´s largest RSI hand geometry-enhanced access control system
was installed on a Group 4 AMAG Symmetry Enterprise platform using the multiNODE 2100 HGU
panels.
