AMAG Technology’s Symmetry™ Security Management Systems Earn UL1076 Certification

Torrance, CA (September 25, 2006) – AMAG Technology, a G4Tec company and preferred security manufacturer of the US Government, has received Notice of Authorization from Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) for UL 1076 certification for Proprietary Burglar Alarm Units for Standard and Homeland Security security management systems.

Defense contractors and organizations within the US Government and Department of Defense protect classified information and materials with sanctioned security design and equipment. Mandated by the government, the Department of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/9 manual requires that Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) utilize intrusion detection equipment that has been tested and listed by Underwriter Laboratories under section UL-1076.

The Symmetry™ Security Management System (SMS) qualifies to provide UL 1076 certified SMS’ to government customers for use in SCIFs. Government entities can install AMAG access control and intrusion detection systems in high security government buildings.
