Payne Joins AMAG Technology as VP of Technical Services

Torrance, CA, December 14, 2007 – Ray Payne has joined AMAG Technology as Vice President of Technical Services. Ray Payne will be leading all technical services for AMAG Technology including professional engineering services, product management, technical support and reseller training at the Torrance, CA and Virginia locations. He reports directly to President, Bob Sawyer.

“Ray has over 30 years of management experience in the security field in the areas of product development, customer service and support and strategic alliances,” said AMAG President, Bob Sawyer. “His experience and leadership will strengthen the technical services department and push AMAG to provide unparalleled technical support.”

He has a BSEE in Electronics, is an ASIS International Board Certified CPP, and has authored multiple articles on industry convergence and IP-centric physical security solutions.

Prior to joining AMAG, Ray was in charge of IP video architecture at GE Security, Senior Vice President Engineering & Technology at Ultrak / MDI, and Executive Vice President at Javelin Systems.
